Mickie founded Washer Solutions in 2001. For over 46 years, he had been actively involved in the Scientific and Healthcare industries through the design and manufacturing of washing and sterilization equipment. Many of Mickie’s designs have changed the industry and are still being used today. Through the years, while in leadership roles with many of the foremost companies in the industry, over 2,000 projects have been successfully completed under his direction.
Although Mickie has decided to retire in 2021, he continues to be a resource and serves on the advisory board of Washer Solutions.
1974 to 1975 – Designer, Edmonds Manufacturing Corporation (EMC)
EMC manufactured washing equipment for the Soft Drink and Animal Care Industry. EMC was sold in 1975.
1975 to 1989 – Vice President, Basil Equipment Corporation (BASIL)
BASIL manufactured washing equipment for the Health Care and Animal Care Industry. BASIL was sold in 1989.
1989 to 1991 – Vice President, American Sterilizer Corporation (AMSCO)
AMSCO purchased BASIL and has relocated the facility to its Quebec facility. They have since added the BASIL washer line to their list of products.
1991 to 1998 – Owner, MTP Custom Machinery Corporation (MTP)
MTP manufactured washing equipment for the Soft Drink, Bakery, Health Care, and Animal Care Industry. MTP was sold in 1998.
1998 to 2001 – Vice President of Scientific Division, Getinge / Castle Inc. (GC)
GC purchased MTP and has relocated the facility to its Rochester location. They have since added MTP’s washing equipment to their product line.
Marcus serves as the President of Washer Solutions, a position he has held since 2013. He is a graduate of St. John Fisher College and joined the team at Washer Solutions in 2007. Marcus has been an integral part of developing & expanding Washer Solutions throughout the years. He has built a manufacturing facility onsite, is developing a training facility, and continues to expand our service base. As a result, we now service over 1,000 pieces of equipment in 12 states.
Before joining Washer Solutions, Marcus worked at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Rochester in Fund Development where he executed events and brought over $250K to the organization.
Christina serves as the Vice President of Washer Solutions, a position she has held since 2018. She is a graduate of Huntington University and has been with Washer Solutions since 2008. Christina joined our team primarily responsible for developing our parts department as well as supporting our customer base. She now serves as a point of contact for Human Resources & Payroll as well as point of contact for Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable as well as overseeing day to day operations of the business.
Prior to joining Washer Solutions, Christina worked as an Insurance Broker selling ancillary benefits for the upstate New York region.
